If so, you've probably seen that most credible sources will tell you that weight loss and fitness are strongly related. If not, that's what I'll tell you now. </div><div><br /></div><div>If you want to lose weight, you first need to evaluate a few truths. The most obvious is that if you burn off more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. You can either chose to do no "extra" exercise and eat very, very little in order to lose weight, or you can stick to a plan that will burn off enough calories and allow you not to starve yourself. It's also important to note that overly-decreasing your calorie intake can backfire on you because your body will slow your metabolism down in order to accommodate this adjustment in calorie intake. This will cause you to actually gain weight instead of lose it. </div><div><br /></div><div>The next fact is that a combination of water and oxygen leads to fat burning. Make sure that you are getting at least a half gallon of water every day. Your body will use this water when you exercise, and cause you to lose weight in a healthy way. Again, you must combine your water intake with some form of aerobic exercise (increased oxygen) for this to work. Choose something that you like and can do on a regular basis like Walking, biking, swimming, yard work, etc. As long as you get your heart rate up a little bit, it's a good fat burning exercise. </div><div><br /></div><div>Finally, consistency is the key when it comes to your weight loss and fitness plan. So many people jump into something quickly with the mindset that they will just keep up the pace for a couple of weeks or a couple of months and then they can go back to their usual life. </div><div><br /></div><div>In reality, your plan should be a life-long commitment. Even after you lose the weight, in order to maintain your goal weight, you need to eat right and get some activity in. So, pick an activity that you enjoy (or that you don't mind so much). Walking is one favorite. If you live in the city, you can actually walk part of the way to work, save on gym expenses, and not have to worry about finding time in your day to exercise. If not, no matter where you live, you can probably find the time to take a 20-minute brisk walk around your neighborhood. Bring a buddy along to keep you entertained and you'll see that the time flies. The connection between weight loss and fitness is too strong to ignore. achieve. How much of your mind is dedicated to the actual achievement of that
goal? How much of your mind is focused on all the obstacles that could prevent

get started on the journey towards achieving what you want most. If you <b>focus
on your destination</b> and how great you will feel when you get there, you'll be

<p class="MsoNormal">Try to catch yourself whenever you notice you're thinking
negatively about your goal. <b>Be vigilant</b> for the times when your mind tries to
seduce you into giving up by making you anxious about how difficult it will be.

yourself that will make you snap out of that negative train of thought</b>. Tell yourself
if I keep going I'll get there. Tell yourself, a 1000-mile journey begins with
a single step. Tell yourself, winners never quit, and quitters never win.

I never dreamed I would be away from this blog for so long.
Itâs been almost three years. WOW!!!<o:p></o:p></div>

To be honest, as time went by, it looked as though I
would never return because I felt done with the whole weight loss motivation
thing. I felt I had delivered every weight loss motivational idea I could think
of. I also did not want so much of my online life to revolve solely around weight
loss. Each new post in the last six months of posting here felt like I was
pulling teeth. I knew I needed something else, but at the time I was not really
sure what I needed. Sometimes in life you feel that something is missing but
you just donât know exactly what it is. You just know youâre feeling a sort of niggling
discontent. <o:p></o:p></div>

I have discovered the major cause of this discontent was
that I was not doing what I really wanted to do with this blog. <o:p></o:p></div>

I have discovered that my new goal for this blog is to
create <b>empowering and inspirational content ON ALL AREAS OF
LIFE, not just weight loss</b> because I have learned that it is not just what we
eat and how we move our bodies that determines whether weâll become overweight.
There are many lifestyle factors, including stress, low self-esteem, not living
our truth, people pleasing, etc, that will make us overeat for comfort. I want
this blog to address some of these issues by offering engaging, enjoyable, interesting,
easy to implement ideas and strategies that will inspire you to work out the
kinks in your life so that you can also work off the extra weight on your body.<o:p></o:p></div>

We all carry unwanted âweightâ in many areas of our lives,
whether itâs on our bodies, our romantic relationships, our jobs, our homes, our

This is a message mainly for the people who followed MotiveWeight on Tumblr and are wondering why they can no longer gain access to it. Sadly, on Monday March 20th 2017, after six years of running Motiveweight.Tumblr.com, I had to shut it down because it was just taking too much of my time. I have new online projects that I want to implement and I could not do justice to them and give you the service on Tumblr that you were used to.
I may open up MotiveWeight on my own website one day because I still own the name MotiveWeight.com but right now I am focused on creating new work in other areas so I am not sure if and when I will ever start up Motiveweight.com again.

I recently found a way to make myself work out every day: First I decided to commit to working out every day <b>by just starting very small</b>. On day 1 I was only motivated to workout for 2 minutes (Yes, I know, sounds too little right?). But EVERY DAY thereafter I decided that my absolute minimum would be 2 minutes. No matter how demotivated I felt, I was determined to do my 2 minutes. <b>This goal was so small that it was almost impossible not to do it</b>. By day 3 or 4 I had doubled it to 4 minutes. One week later I felt very comfortable to do 15 minutes, because it was beginning to feel like a HABIT. If on any day I did not feel like working out I would make myself do my minimum of two minutes. By week 2, I was doing 30-45 minutes EVERY DAY. Now it's over a month since I started this new way of staying motivated and I now workout for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes daily (on my elliptical, spin bike, plus YouTube workout videos).<br />
<b>Working out daily has now become my habit</b>, it would seem as strange to me to not work out as it would to not brush my teeth. If you find yourself saying "I will do my workout" and then find yourself procrastinating, but you really want to say "I DID my workout today" <b>consider starting off with a ridiculously short time of just two minutes</b>, but make sure you do those two minutes EVERY DAY. I must say this quote really had quite an impact on me. I have been thinking of not using the scale for quite some time and the words, "<b>if you don't like what you see in the mirror what difference does it make what the scale says</b>" was the catalyst that will make me stop using the scales (at least for a while). It's true, why does the number matter? We all want to look better, feel better and be healthier...there are far better and more effective ways to measure these things than the scales....I think I'll make the month of May, <b>NO WEIGH MAY</b>!</div>
